Sitting

Posted on May 2, 2024May 3, 2024

Sitting in a dark bathroom
Piss drying on my labia
Tears drying on my cheeks
Hating who I am

What I’ve become
How I got here
Why I got here
Hating my path.

Feeling useless
Worthless
Unloved
Unlovable.

I try.
I fight.
I strain.
I hurt.

I bleed.
It makes no matter.
It means nothing.
It only ends in darkness.

The same as yesterday.

The same eight hours
That I can’t finish.

The same 24 hours
Where I can’t sleep enough.

The same 7 days
Where I can’t feed myself.

The same 30 days
Where I let everyone down.

So here I am.

In a darkened bathroom.
Tears drying on my face.
Piss drying on my labia.
Hating who I am.
